I think it all comes down to perspective. Someone commented on some of my photos as being very good, but I thought they were very bad. It's the "beauty in the eye of the beholder" thing. It just seems Schmap has worked out a new business model - not paying for photos and making Flickr users happy because of choosing their pictures :) I'm also one of them (and frankly do not consider my capture of Rome the best I have either), my friend as well.
